Installation Guide

macOS

Download the .dmg file for your Mac architecture
Double-click to open DMG, drag PodcastAI to Applications
Eject the DMG (right-click DMG on desktop → Eject)
Open Applications folder, right-click PodcastAI → Open (DO NOT double-click)
Click "Open" in the Gatekeeper dialog (first launch only)
Sign in with your account or use desktop verification

About "Apple cannot verify the app" warning

This is macOS Gatekeeper's standard warning for apps without Apple Developer ID signature. PodcastAI uses ad-hoc signing (no malicious code). It is 100% safe. Two ways to bypass:

Method 1 (Recommended): Right-click to open

Right-click PodcastAI.app in Applications → select "Open" → click "Open" in dialog

Method 2: System Settings

System Settings → Privacy & Security → scroll down → click "Open Anyway"

Method 3: Terminal command (one-click fix)

xattr -cr /Applications/PodcastAI.app

Open Terminal (Spotlight search "Terminal"), paste and run

Download the .exe installer
Run the installer and follow the setup wizard
Launch PodcastAI from Start Menu
Sign in with your account or use desktop verification

Desktop app requires macOS 11+ or Windows 10+. Voice cloning requires Apple Silicon Mac (M1+) or a Windows PC with GPU.
